MR. DO MAME CABINET - home | day 1

Day 1 of the build out. I should have drew up some plans. Designing / building as you go takes too long.
I should have taken some pictures along the way but I was busy building and my assistant (shown here) was busy playing Xbox.

I changed 'plans' and decided this thing was too big for a table. Instead I made it something you could sit down and play comfortably or someone of my assistant's stature can stand and play, no problem.

The total height is 4 feet (because that's how wide the wood was) but will increase by about an inch when I put the wheels on it.
The width is 20 1/4".. marquee and CP measure in at 18 3/4"
The depth front to back I was able to get down to 26 1/2 inches. Since I made it taller then the cardboard mock up the proportions look better.

It still is somewhat shaped like a universal cabinet so I'm still happy. Just wish I had gotten more done but we had some errands to run that ate up a good part of the day.

I wish today was Saturday and not Sunday. It's 9pm and a little late to be ripping 3/4 inch MDF with a dull blade in my yard. Not sure how much time I will have to work on this during the week since I get home at around 8pm. Damn... my brother's birthday is on Tuesday. Looks like he'll get it on Sunday... oh well.

I guess druing the week I can get the operating system and computer set up and running 100%. Good plan.
